We have wonderful clothing, jewelry, craft and other merchants coming to the “Homes for the Holidays” Red Barn Holiday Boutiques at the Adolfo Camarillo Ranch Barn Sunday, December 11, 2016. Entry to the boutique is free and open to the public. It’s that time of year again! The 38th Annual “Homes for the Holidays” Home Tour and Red Barn Holiday Boutique in Camarillo will take place Sunday, December 11, 2016. To kick off this year’s event, let’s recap 2015’s event: Families and groups of friends lined up to visit 4 beautiful homes dressed for the holidays to raise money for charity.Guests explored a one-of-a-kind palatial Roman villa in Spanish Hills, with over 10,000 sq. ft. of interior living spaceGuests visited a 3,200 sq. ft. Country Hills Estates home, home of the 108-foot-tall Christmas tree with 12-foot star topping. The tree and star beams with navigation style strobe lights and flashes brightly in the sky. Guests admired a home with a dozen full-sized Christmas trees adorned with collected and handmade ornaments from the past 30 years. There was a unique Christmas tree to match every room’s individual theme. Guests discovered a cozy country cottage, where they admired the homeowner’s Hummel figurine collection, and collection of handmade quilts.Guests shopped the boutique of numerous vendors at the Adolfo Camarillo Ranch barn, finding handcrafted...

2016 Homes for the Holidays F.A.Q.

Has the Homes for the Holiday’s Home tour been around a long time? The Home Tour was the first fundraiser established by MSL. It has been held for over 45 years, sharing beautiful homes, both small and large, decorated for the holidays.  It has been a welcome tradition of the Camarillo Area. How does this event contribute to our community?   The funds from this event are combined with the funds form our other 2 events the Spring Luncheon and Tennis Tournament and the Taste of Camarillo Festival and Gala and are distributed to over 30 local Ventura County charities.  $220K was contributed to 32 charities in June of 2016.  Click here for a list of charities > Where are the homes this year?  How many are there? There are 4 homes on the Home Tour.
